Outsourcing Destination Guide Albania

There are currently 3,349 active enterprises that operate in the Information and Communication sector in Albania (AIDA, 2024), where 843 were registered in 2020. Out of these enterprises 440 operate in Telecommunication, 1,606 operate in Computer programming, consultancy and related activities, and 574 in Information service activities.

We present with the Outsourcing Destination Guide Albania the conditions, capabilities and actors of the Albanian ICT sector. Furthermore, we showcase unique solutions by Albanian industry experts in the form of case studies, project reports and have talked to local industry leaders about their operations and perspective.

As a result, we help decision-makers better understand the local conditions and opportunities for both: working with IT- and business process service providers in Albania or investing in their own delivery center operations.

March 2024 – Since 2023 we have been supporting Ukrainian and African IT companies in their efforts to expand their business and services delivery in the framework of a special initiative by the German GIZ. As part of it we invited Ukrainian and African IT companies to meet in Berlin for discovery meetings and to network with representatives of German companies and German startups.

March 2024 – In cooperation with SIB Startup Incubator Berlin and HTW (University of Applied Science Berlin) we organised a workshop specifically for German startup founders to explain the opportunities and conditions when working with ICT servcies providers in foreign markets. We talked about availabilities and collaboration models as well as IT sourcing strategies.

February 2024 – Over the last couple of months we have been closely observing the developments in the Ukrainian ICT sector and interviewed representatives of Ukrainian IT associations and nearly 100 Ukrainian IT companies on their strategies to expand their services delivery and mitigate the risks for their clients and partners. The Ukrainian IT companies showed incredible resilience and already had strategies in place to counter the disruptions due to the Russian invasion. ICT Africa Report – The State of ICT Services Sectors in Africa

New! ICT Africa Report - Announcement

Good decisions are based on accurate information and data.
In case of emerging markets the availability of reliable data is insufficient.

This is hindering clients and investors to access those markets and benefit from the local conditions and opportunities for ICT services delivery.
The markets appear intransparent, indicating lower investment security and seem unpredictable to potential clients.

Further international support organisations benefit too from more transparency in the ICT sectors when developing programs and seeking for effective measures to support governments, sector associations, public-private programs as well as the private sector.

With this study we aim to create more trust in ICT Africa by providing more accurate insights and a business focussed analysis of the conditions and the opportunities in ICT for clients and investors.

IT-Services Trends Mid-Market Germany Study

New! IT-Services Trends Mid-Market Germany Study

Good decisions are based on accurate information and data. In case of the use of external IT-services among mid-sized German companies no significant analysis that offers real-world business insights is conducted and/or made publicly available.

As independent association, specialised in IT services markets and business we aim to conduct a comprehensive analysis on the use of outsourcing from buyer and advisor side perspective in Germany.

Our aim is to focus on the German mid-market segment that represents a large percentage of the economy.

We are talking to IT departments and company leaders to create a realistic view on the standpoints of German IT-departments on the collaboration with external IT-services providers – inside and outside of Germany.

This will bring more transparency to the market and encourage decision makers in Germany to approach IT-outsourcing better prepared.

It will also help foreign IT-services providers and public organisations to better understand the German market for IT services and thus create better linkages and business relations.
